Hey KASA Family,

We're thrilled to announce a pivotal moment for our association! In line with our new constitution, we're transitioning to a fall-to-fall yearly term for our executive leadership. This means a fresh start and an incredible opportunity for new voices to shape KASA's future.

Due to this new structure and some recent changes, we have several key positions now vacant.

This is your chance to step up and lead!

Vacant Executive Board Positions

As of today, the following offices are officially declared vacant and open for nominations:

1. President
2. Vice President
3. General Secretary
4. Financial Secretary
5. Student Liaison
6. Social Media Liaison

📌 Please note: The Alumni Representative will be appointed by the incoming executive team.

KASA Executive Nomination Requirements

Before you nominate yourself or someone else, please review the requirements carefully:

✅ General Eligibility (Applies to All Roles)

1. Must be a registered KASA member.
2. Active in KASA activities/events within the current academic year.
3. Must be a currently enrolled student (graduate) at the university.
4. Must have completed at least one semester at the university to ensure familiarity with the student body and KASA operations.
5. Good academic standing with a GPA of 3.0 or above.
6. Clean disciplinary record (no current violations of the student conduct code).
7. Must have a minimum of two (2) semesters remaining at the university

🔹 Role-Specific Requirements

🟢 President / Vice President

1. Demonstrated leadership experience (within or outside KASA).
2. Strong communication and organizational skills.
3. Must be available to commit adequate time to lead meetings, coordinate events, and represent KASA.

🟡 General Secretary

1. Strong writing, organizational, and digital communication skills.
2. Must be responsive and able to manage documentation (minutes, records, forms, etc.).

🟠 Financial Secretary

1. Basic knowledge of financial management, spreadsheets, and budgeting.
2. Trustworthy and accountable; may be required to present financial reports.

🔵 Student Liaison

1. Strong interpersonal skills and campus engagement.
2. Must be approachable and ready to represent student concerns to the executive.

🟣 Social Media Liaison

1. Active on social media platforms.
2. Basic design/content skills preferred (e.g., Canva, Instagram Reels).
3. Must commit to weekly updates/posts and event promotion.
