KASA Hosts Memorable Sendforth, Welcome & End-of-Semester Celebration

KASA-YU, May 17, 2025 — The Katz African Students Association (KASA) brought the Spring 2025 semester to a vibrant close with a colorful Sendforth, Welcome, and End-of-Semester Party on May 17th. The event was a joyful blend of celebration, reflection, and cultural pride that brought together both new and outgoing members of the association.


The evening began with a warm welcome for new members, highlighting KASA’s open arms and shared spirit. Entertaining gist, music, awards, exchange of gifts and laughter-filled moments set the tone for a memorable night.


A heartfelt sendforth segment honored the graduating members for their dedication and legacy. It was a moment of deep appreciation, laughter, and even tears, as memories were shared and tokens of recognition were presented.

The event closed with music, dancing, and a communal meal, featuring a buffet of Afro-infused dishes; capturing the vibrant diversity of KASA’s membership.
