The Katz African Student Association (KASA) 2025 election has successfully concluded after a rerun, delivering a clear mandate for the newly elected executive members. The election, initially held on January 10th, 2025, was declared void due to procedural issues.
Following this, a rerun took place on January 16th, 2025, ensuring a fair and transparent process.
The final results are as follows:
President: Billy Muchipisi - 36 Votes
Vice President: Kelvin Dhliwayo - 33 Votes

Collins Katende - 3 Votes
Emmanuel O. Kasigazi - 8 Votes
Vice Presidential Candidate:
Precious Phiri - 15 Votes
The KASA community came together to ensure the election was conducted smoothly during the rerun. The newly elected leadership expressed gratitude for the support and vowed to continue strengthening the KASA community with innovative and inclusive initiatives.
